The SM7410A CNC Vertical Spindle Rotary Table Surface Grinding Machine is designed based on China’s standard M74 series vertical rotary table surface grinders, incorporating the grinding characteristics required in the hardware tools and automotive parts industries. Its structure and grinding principles are comparable to similar German machines, overcoming common limitations such as insufficient spindle rigidity, low geometric surface precision, cumbersome workpiece clamping, and low grinding efficiency.
The machine is composed of three main units: grinding head and feed mechanism, rotary worktable, and automatic control system. The spindle support uses multiple sets of high-precision paired bearings, ensuring high-speed rotation accuracy within 0.005 mm. The automatic wheel wear compensation system allows for real-time correction, with a minimum feed increment of 0.005 mm. The rotary worktable is driven by a program-controlled stepless variable speed system. The table is also equipped with longitudinal sliding rails for adjusting the grinding position between the grinding head and worktable (workpiece), accommodating varying workpiece shapes (steps, unfinished surfaces, etc.).
Working Principle of CNC Vertical Spindle Rotary Table Surface Grinding Machine:
The grinding head feeds to preset the grinding allowance in one adjustment. Workpieces are clamped and positioned on the rotary table via an electromagnetic chuck, rotating continuously under the grinding wheel for surface machining. Outside the grinding zone, new workpieces can be mounted without stopping the machine, enabling continuous, high-efficiency production.
This machine is simple to operate, featuring a human-machine interface (HMI) control screen with a high level of automation. The control system automatically manages all machine operations while continuously monitoring and providing real-time alerts regarding the status of key components, as well as real-time feedback on wheel consumption. If equipped with an optional workpiece thickness measuring system (Note: not included in standard configuration; optional), the system can perform real-time automatic correction of the grinding head feed to enhance dimensional tolerance control accuracy.
